Hi! I'm Melissa — the illustrator and creative heart behind Mel Bee Draws.
I've always known I wanted to be part of the art world, and I've been lucky to spend the past 17 years building a career in both illustration and design. Whether I'm sketching for a big project or just drawing for fun, nothing makes me happier than getting lost in the creative process.
You can find my work in stores like Target, Barnes & Noble, World Market, and charming little boutiques across the U.S. and U.K. My hope is that my work brings a bit of joy, color, and whimsy to someone’s day.
When I'm not illustrating, I'm out exploring the Pacific Northwest, tending to my ever-growing plant collection, or cuddling my very sweet kitty, Oliver.
